That’s what our tour guide, Pat Patterson told us and
he was right!
We
took our visitors from Switzerland on an afternoon guided tour
around Clear Lake Shores and it was more fun that we expected.
Segway is a unique, fun ride using computer technology to ensure
a safe ride for the cautious, and a thrilling one for the more
adventurous.
Our
host, Pat Patterson, patiently explained the easy to learn techniques
to make our Segway ride the best new thing we’ve done
in years! The machine just seems to know what you want to do
and cooperates flawlessly. I found myself confident and competent
to ride within minutes of instruction.
Gliding
along in the cool breeze was a wonderful happy carefree ride
and I would recommend even the faint-hearted to give it a try.

"The
Segway tour of Kemah/Clear Lake Shores was a blast. Ever since
I first saw them I have wanted to ride one. For a special Mother’s
Day gift me, my sister, my mother and my daughter went for an
adventure. Daddy babysat the little ones and us mommies went
for a ride. I have lived in League City for 15 years and have
never seen it this way. It was nice to get out of the car and
actually explore. It was a beautiful afternoon too!
I really felt comfortable with the guides Pat and Lia. They
made us feel like old friends. I was pretty nervous when I first
got on the Segway, during the short training exercise, but after
a few minutes I felt like a pro. We have a bunch of stories
to tell and lots of pictures to show. We had a fabulous time
on the Segways!! Thanks again!"

love Segways and I loved this tour. Lean & Glide uses updated
equipment and they were very organized on how they handle the
tour. Pat was an excellent guide. I have been on two Segway
tours, one in Austin and one in Houston (Lean & Glide).
Both tours were two hours long. The Lean & Glide tour was
far better for the money compared to the Austin tour. Pat kept
me interested and focused the entire two hours. The tour included
several scenic views, places for picture taking, and a stop
at a well known coffee shop on the boardwalk. I recommend Lean
& Glide to all levels of Segway users (beginners to experienced).

Kemah Boardwalk is a great place to visit, and the best way
to get acquainted with the area is on a Segway tour. My family
and I had never taken a Segway out for a ride, but after a few
quick minutes of coaching from Pat, we were confidently on our
way seeing the sights of the entire boardwalk area. This is
one amazing machine!! Moving around in town was a breeze, as
Pat pointed out many points of interest that most visitors to
